Donating appreciated stock can be a cost-effective way to make a gift to The Family Place. If you itemize on your tax return, you may receive a charitable deduction for the value of your stock and may not have to pay capital gains on the appreciated value.
Planned gifts include gifts made through wills, life insurance, charitable trusts or life-income arrangements.
Community Fundraising/Hosting a Great Gathering
This is a fun, creative and engaging way to participate in fundraising. Contact Susanne Lovejoy (The Family Place Fund Developer), if you or your organization would like to work with The Family Place, as you raise money or items from the Gift Giving list to help support programs and families. See recent examples of Community Fundraising in the Blog section on this site.
As homelessness for families with children is on the rise, available financial resources continue to decline. That is why your donation is so essential. Together we can transform lives – one child, one parent, one family at a time.
